From Business to
UX Design
To give some context, my school education was very business oriented, which motivated me to pursue a career in Business Administration. Since then I noticed my ability to propose ideas and strategies and my people skills, which allowed me to work in marketing, commercial areas and customer service. I've always enjoyed the interaction with end-users, I knew how important it's to gather their feedback, listen carefully to their needs and get to know the product in depth to contribute to both business growth and user satisfaction. However, I wasn't enjoying the fact that my career was becoming so focused on sales. I no longer saw room to be as creative as I wanted to be and I didn't see many opportunities to contribute to product improvement, impact processes and experiences based on the customer needs
I've always been a creative person, I love crafts and decoration, playing with textures, colors and shapes, which led me to work on my side business, focused on designing personalized handmade figures in paper techniques.
When I moved to Berlin, my desire to combine my skills with my passions led me to discover User Experience Design. I've always seen how people struggle with bad ux and complex platforms and how it affects satisfaction and businesses. Once I discovered it, I've immersed myself fully in UX. I've trained as a UX Designer and have become passionate about the huge impact of digital product design, UX and UI
It's amazing that there is always something new to learn in the field. From the experiences of other designers and cross-functional teams. From the failures and successes of companies or from the advances in tech and approaches in different industries to, of course, users. As well as from existing products, tools, methodologies and trends. It's also fascinating to see closely how a great product is the result of synchronizing several disciplines with each other.
For now, I can say that some of my favorite stages of the design process are researching real pain points and user needs, understanding user behaviors, coming up with creative ideas and iterating and testing prototypes.
I'm looking forward to taking on a new challenge, to learn more about the tech and design industry, and to work on designing accessible and sustainable products and experiences that impact people's lives (and society)

A little more about me...
I dream of contributing in some way to social causes. I admire people, communities and organizations that strive to build a better world.
I enjoy painting, photography and handicrafts. I looove spending time with my family and my (not so) little dog. I'm the type of person who finds peace in organization and loves interior decorating. I have an eye for detail and I feel that is something I apply to everything I do.
